My mum is 50 over but never bother to learn any computer skill. Should get her to read this blog.

I know I have not been preparing for the battle all the while. If I were to enter a battle field, I would be sure lost

Too bad... Lord, I'm sorry for that. Busyness is really a great weapon that te devil uses to attack weak people like me.

那天向书记要分隔文件夹中各种文件的“partition”,她听我比手画脚解释了一番，冒出这一句“Oh… It’s the file divider.”，然后很好笑似地跟另一个书记“报告”此“天大的笑话”。我不甘心道：“Partition is the same.”她说：“Partition is for bigger space like cubicle.”有没有搞错，我又不是英语专才，哪晓得这样的区别？对我来说，重要的是它的功能，partition或divider都是用来分开东西的嘛！

 

总觉得英语很难搞。无奈现在天天跟英语打交道，不得不去摸清它的底。明明mine念“mai”，examine却念“examin”，不念“examai”, determine念“determin”, 不念“determai”。一包的A4纸叫a ream of A4 paper, not a pack of A4 paper（刚开始以为他们是说a ring of A4 paper，害我一头烟雾）。Sanction可以是penalty，也可以是reward。天啊，怎么人类的语言这么复杂？是巴别塔骄傲的后果吗？我以前的英文补习老师是个洋人，她说你们的马来文真好学，路是jalan,走也是jalan,去走走是jalan-jalan。亏她想得到。相信幽默的万牧师可以想到更多的例子。

 

对今天的马来西亚华人来说，华语是根，英语是必需品，马来西亚语是进本地大学的通行证，因为爱国。

 

 

现在是什么时候了，竟然在家上网？！

 

从今年开始，阿贵的国语事工崇拜从之前的下午时段改成了典型的早场崇拜；而我们之前一直参加GMC早场英语崇拜，并带孜祈参加同时的主日学，现在clash了。为了让孜祈能继续参加主日学，我们就决定“各分东西”。

 

喜欢GMC的主日学，主要是因为他们欢迎任何年龄的小孩，试想想我的小宝贝才一岁呢！刚接触主日学时她才十个月左右，成了超迷你的主日学学生。初次带她去主日学小班“观摩”时，老师还煞有其事地为她填写资料表，着实让我感动。从此以后，孜祈成了主日学的一份子，我从多年来刘晓微的身份升格为Mother of Evangeline的代号，百感交集。当然，活力四射、创意十足、爱心满满的教学方式，也是吸引宝宝能够参与其中的主因。在这里要向所有主日学老师致万二分谢意，他们的爱心和委身实在让人佩服！

 

咦，说到那儿去了？对了，怎么个“打乱了的主日”？孜祈流鼻涕、咳嗽，所以唯有呆在家里，怕她去主日学传染给其他小孩。而二十四孝的老妈子只好陪她在家“偷懒”，阿贵竟讽刺说正如我愿。也罢，君子不与小人计较。我是君子妈妈。大家主日愉快！

 

终于知道“有样学样”的真谛了！

 

一岁的小孜祈开始呀呀学语，有样学样。我们说什么，做什么被她听到或看到，她也会跟着说或做。阿贵刷牙后呵呵地漱口，她很快就学会发出呵呵的声音。以后，一看到我们站在洗脸盆那儿，她就会呵呵地发出怪声。

 

一次，不懂她老爸说了什么，我一时不爽就大声地回他一句“NO！”。突然就听到小孜祈的echo,她也跟着大声地说“NO！”。吓！

 

看来，真要规规矩矩地，免得误人子弟。

Every day is a good day to start.

 

This is how I comfort myself every time I fail to work out my plan of the day. There are always obstacles coming in my way. (Blogging is one of them, haha!) Now I feel I am runnig out of time, although I 'might' still have 40 years (or 50 years if I have the strength) ahead. I have A LOT OF THINGS to do. How can I manage my time according to His will? May God grant us wisdom to be a good time manager for Him.
